Returns & Warranty

30-day returns

Every DisplayPrep board is handmade to order in Tamarac, Florida. If it isn't right for you, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided that:

  • the board, pans and lids are unused, clean and undamaged, with no knife marks, and
  • it is returned with all parts in the original packaging.

Accessories (knives, tongs, forks, spoons) can be returned unused and in their original packaging within the same 30 days. For hygiene and safety reasons, used knives and serving utensils can't be returned.

How to start a return

  1. Email contact@displayprep.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We'll reply within 2 business days with the return address and instructions.
  3. Ship the item back with a tracked carrier. Please pack it well: boards damaged in return transit can't be refunded in full.

Refunds

Once the return arrives and passes inspection, we refund the item price to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to post it. Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are not refundable, unless the return is due to our error or a defect.

Damaged or wrong item

If your order arrives damaged, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

Custom and professional orders

Custom layouts and other made-to-specification orders (including quoted bulk orders) are final sale. They are still covered by the warranty below.

1-year limited warranty

We warrant the aluminum frame, handles, hardware and stainless pans and lids against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from delivery. If a part fails under normal use, we'll repair or replace it free of charge.

The warranty doesn't cover:

  • normal knife marks and wear on the cutting surface (that is what a cutting board is for),
  • heat damage. The polyethylene board must not be exposed to heat above 150°F,
  • damage from drops, hard impacts or misuse,
  • running the board through a dishwasher (the pans and lids are dishwasher safe; the board is not).
